Hidemaru Sato President, AOL Japan, Inc Hidemaru Sato has taken the office of President of AOL Japan on December 20, 1997. Prior to joining AOL, Hidemaru has been with Citizen for ten years. He has been appointed as President of Citizen America Corporation in 1996. He also has experience as the Product Planning Manager at Citizen Systems, Inc. for the design and development of palmtop computers along with technical and marketing research reporting to Japan. He has been at Nippon Univac Kaisya, Ltd. from 1980 to 1987 for the planning and development of the CAD system for industrial product design as one of the application fields of Computer Animation Technology. He has earned a B.E. in mechanical engineering at Waseda University and a M.S. in mechanical engineering at Stanford University.
