“Moving toward the Realization of a Data-Driven Society”
- With the application and utilization of diverse and vast amounts of data, a great technological environmental change is taking us to a new era, in which completely new values and services will be created, and the successful application and utilization of data are becoming an important key to the reinforcement of international competitiveness and the resolution of social problems.
In order to respond to the new era of the IoT, big data, and artificial intelligence (AI), there has been an active movement of industry, academia, and government sectors in Japan and abroad to promote the application and utilization of data beyond the boundaries of enterprises, industries, etc. Furthermore, there is a movement to seek international collaboration, including the sharing of best practices and consideration of cooperation in standardization activities.
This session aims to share information on the current efforts toward the realization of a data-driven society, such as solving urban problems through IoT, and discuss future issues, future prospects, and the possibility of international cooperation in order to enable Japanese enterprises to create and disseminate global IoT business.
