 Mr. Peter Pervere

Peter Pervere has over 15 years of financial services experience. Pervere is responsible for all finance functions, including accounting, financial planning, taxation, treasury and investor relations. Prior to Commerce One, Pervere was vice president and corporate controller at Sybase. During his tenure, Sybase grew from a $2 million company to a greater than $1 billion company. Pervere became an officer of Sybase in 1991 and was promoted to vice president and corporate controller in 1992. Pervere also played an active role in the company's initial public offering in 1991, conducted numerous corporate acquisitions, and implemented a new company-wide finance system for Sybase. Before joining Sybase, Pervere was an audit manager for Ernst & Young LLP.
