- Bradley L. Bartz
- President US Business Operations, JMAIL.CO.JP KK
Bradley Bartz was one of the first dozen internet entrepreneurs in Japan. Beginning in 1992 with ad supported online systems, leading into full ISP with NTT-PC, webdesign for Budweiser and other large multinationals in the Japanese market. In 1998 Bartz launched JMAIL.CO.JP and has grown it to a 520,000 + registered Japanese userbase.
Mr. Bartz is infamous in Japan for "breaking the Japanese Internet". In 1996 Bartz successfully registered over 100 Japanese .co.jp domain names only to incur the wrath of JPNIC. With the new JPNIC rules coming this year Bartz stands with pride that the bastards are finally opening up the market. But, problems exist with JPNIC and Bartz again. Seems that JPNIC is denying our rights to be first in line for our .jp domain collection. We own hoken.co.jp but we can not register hoken.jp because we are American. No fury like a Bartz scorned. Watch out JPNIC.
